Global warming projects to be honored at Teachers Network Recognition Dinner
School curriculum projects on global warming will receive special recognition, sponsored by the Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District, at the annual Teacher Network Recognition Dinner 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8 at the Marriott Hotel in Buellton.
Keynote speaker will be Ron Zell, 2007 Santa Barbara County Teacher of the Year.
The annual event, held by the Santa Barbara County Education Office, will honor outstanding curriculum projects recipients sponsored by local business partners, Care & Share Philanthropic Grant Recipients sponsored by the Santa Barbara Foundation, and Teacher Innovation Grants sponsored by the Santa Barbara County Education Office.
In all, 45 teachers will receive awards for a variety of achievements. For a full listing of the awards, click here.
