Youth Dance Company to perform at annual business appreciation event

Children from the Allan Hancock College for Kids dance programs, featuring members of the Youth Dance company, will perform at the annual business appreciation breakfast of the Santa Maria Valley Industry Education Council Thursday, May 17 at the Elks Lodge #1538, 1309 N. Bradley Road, Santa Maria.

Reservation deadline is May 10. The public is invited to attend.

The annual appreciation breakfast recognizes all the successful business/education partnerships over the past year, along with the support given to local schools. “The event is an opportunity for educators to express appreciation to all the businesses, large and small, who donate time, service, surplus materials, resources, awards, and expertise to local schools in the Santa Maria area,” said County Superintendent Bill Cirone, whose office coordinates the event.
