Breakfast with the Authors slated for October 13

Fifteen authors of children’s books will be among the featured guests at the 49th annual Breakfast With the Authors, sponsored by the Santa Barbara County Education Office, from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 13 in the auditorium of the County Education Office.

The event is open to the public. Reservations are required and the deadline is October 5.

Featured will be: Royce Adams, Sue Alexander, Ruth Bornstein, Jewell Coburn, Bruce Hale, Mary Hanson, Valerie Hobbs, Lee Wardlaw Jaffurs, Kathleen Balmes Kiefer, Len Lamensdorf, Itoko Maeno, LeUyen Pham, Nancy Robison, Susan Strong, and Wendelin Van Draanen.

“This annual event is always a delight for all those who attend,” said County Superintendent Bill Cirone, whose office coordinates the program. “The authors are always willing to share insights and perspectives that make for a wonderful morning of conversation and inspiration.”
