Molina named State Administrator of the year

Cecilia Molina, principal of El Puente Community School in Santa Barbara, has been selected as State Administrator of the Year by the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA).

The award, conferred in the continuation/educational options category, will be presented at the ACSA annual conference at the Westin Century Plaza in Los Angeles on November 10.

The award is one of 18 presented annually in recognition of the outstanding performance and achievements of an individual in the public school system statewide. The El Puente Community School is a program of the Santa Barbara County Education Office.

ACSA has invited Molina and her family to join them as they honor her and her commitment to educational quality, student achievement, and professional growth.

"Cecilia is an absolutely outstanding administrator in every way and this award is extremely well deserved," said County Superintendent of Schools Bill Cirone. "Her dedication, her skill, and her expertise stand as a model for those throughout the field."
