Breakfast with the Authors Slated November 13

The 47th annual Breakfast with the Authors sponsored by the Library Committee and the Santa Barbara County Education Office, is scheduled at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, at the Santa Barbara County Education Office Auditorium, 4400 Cathedral Oaks Road, Santa Barbara.

Reservation deadline is November 5 and only adults may attend.

Children's authors and illustrators participating include Sue Alexander, Caroline Arnold, Tom Bethancourt, Ruth Bornstein, Julie Coburn, Jane Curry, Mel Gilden, Joan Graham, Valerie Hobbs, Elizabeth James, Len Lamensdorf, Deborah Lattimore, Nancy Smiler Levinson, Perie Longo, Itoko Maeno (illustrator), Joan Prestine, Patti Teel, and Lee Wardlaw.

"This highly successful program is now in its 47th year," said County Superintendent of Schools Bill Cirone, whose office coordinates the program. "The morning promises to once again be a complete delight for all involved."
