Industry Education Council meeting to include tour of Den-Mat, Inc.

 

The next meeting of the Santa Maria Valley Industry Education Council is slated from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on November 10 and will feature a tour of Den-Mat, Inc., 2727 Skyway Drive, one of the three largest suppliers of restorative and cosmetic dental products in the United States.

The public is invited to attend this opportunity to network with local business leaders and educators.

Founded in 1974 by Robert L. Ibsen, DDS, Den-Mat, Inc. provides dentists with products that preserve, restore and enhance teeth without extensive cutting, drilling and tooth removal. The firm has over 400 employees and serves more than 86,000 dentists nationwide. It also provides educational programs and seminars throughout the world.

Den-Mat, Inc. was awarded the 1997 Founders Award by the Economic Development Association to recognize its outstanding achievements and contributions to the Santa Maria Valley.
