Showcase mixer to highlight innovative education programs |
| The second
annual Partners Showcase Mixer hosted by Partners in Education will highlight
innovative education programs in schools from Carpinteria to Goleta, from
7:15 to 9 a.m. on Friday, March 1, at the First Presbyterian Church at
Constance and State Streets in Santa Barbara. The mixer will feature a light breakfast, a short welcome by Dr. Peter MacDougall, president of Santa Barbara City College, and Joe Howell, Partners membership chairperson. Breakout sessions will focus on 20 tables displaying program activities. Student representatives will be on hand to talk about the programs and their impact. The event is open to anyone interested in learning more about school/business partnerships in the Santa Barbara area.
