Marian Medical Center to Host SMVIEC Meeting

 

Marian Medical Center will host the April meeting of the Santa Maria Valley Industry Education Council (SMVIEC) from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 13 at 1400 East Church Street. Marian Medical Center has provided a wide range of medical services for over 55 years. It is staffed by more than 200 physicians who offer comprehensive medical care for people of all ages.

Services include an acute care hospital, an extended care center, home care, hospice services, rehabilitative care, community health clinics, and an occupational medical facility. With the opening of the Marian Cancer Center, patients can utilize a variety of educational materials, including prescreened Web sites, educational videos, and books that may be checked out for home reading.

Patients may also receive one-on-one counseling sessions or even non-traditional therapies such as massage, accupressure, and stress management. The clinic is fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons and was made possible through a donation from the Marian Medical Center Foundation.
