Principal for a Day Activities Scheduled

 

Business and community leaders will spend the morning at public and private school sites throughout the Santa Maria Valley on Monday, March 15, to learn more about the challenges facing educators .

The visits are part of a "Principal for a Day" event sponsored by the Santa Maria Valley Industry Education Council (SMVIEC) and the Santa Maria Valley Economic Development Association as part the statewide celebration of "Educational Partnership Week" held each March.

Public and private sites throughout the Santa Maria Valley will be hosting the business and community leaders.

Following their school visits, participants will meet for a Economic Development Association membership luncheon at the Santa Maria Elks Lodge to share their experiences. Keynote speaker at the luncheon is Ms. Eiko Moriyama from the National Association of Partners in Education.
