Judges Named for 45th Annual Science Fair
Thirty-eight distinguished individuals have agreed to serve as judges at the 45th annual Santa Barbara County Science Fair, to be held April 16 through April 20 in the auditorium of the Santa Barbara County Education Office, according to the fair’s coordinator, Dr. Charles Peters.
This year’s fair includes 205 student participants and 172 exhibits.
Students countywide will set up exhibits between noon and 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 16. Preliminary judging will take place from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Interview judging will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. on Monday, April 17. (Note: excellent time for photos/videos and interview of students with best projects in Interview Judging.)
The awards assembly will be held 7 to 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18. (Note: best time for photos/videos of winning projects and students with trophies.)
Exhibits will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19 and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 20. Admission is free.
