Dear Parent,

I am delighted to inform you that I have your child in my class this year. I am looking forward to getting acquainted with each student. It is my desire that your child works to his or her potential. To make this possible I will provide an atmosphere that is warm yet conducive to learning. Please feel free to talk to me before or after school, write a note, or contact the office at your convenience. You may also visit the classroom or even volunteer to be our room mom or dad.

Homework: Homework will be given daily. Please check your child's homework and sign on the designated line. Homework is due the following day.

Thursdays: Adams Tiger folders will be send home every Thursday containing school letters and flyers. Please take the time to review them and send those that need to be return back to school with the folder the following day.

Fridays: Every Friday you will be receiving a weekly report that tells you the progress of your student. Please review it with your child, sign it, write any comments that you might have, and send it back on Monday.
Approximately every other Friday a folder containing samples of corrected work will be send home. Please sit down with your child, review the corrected work, write any comments if you have any, have your child write any comments if desire, and send it back the following Monday. Please keep the corrected work at home.

Estimados Padres,

Es un placer darle la bienvenida a su estudiante a esta clase. Espero que su estudiante trabaje a su maxima potencia. Si decea hablar conmigo, lo puede hacer antes de escuela o despues de escuela. Tambien me puede mandar una nota cuando sea necesario. Si lo decea puede visitar a nuestra clase.

Tarea: Los estudiantes tendran tarea todos los dias. Po favor enterese que la tarea este completada y le firma en la linea. La tarea deve ser regresada el proximo dia.

Jueves: Los jueves los estudiantes llevaran a casa su cuaderno de la escuela Adams. Revise los papeles. Complete y firme los necesarios y regrese el cuaderno el proximo dia.

Viernes: Cada viernes madare un cuarderno con trabajo correctado. Sientese con su estudinate, revisen el trabajo juntos, escriban los dos(estudiante y padre) un comentario acerca del trabajo, y regrese ese cuaderno el proximo lunes. Deje los papeles correctados en casa.

Espero conocerlos pronto en la noche de Back to School Night.
