The goal of this program is to provide educational materials, resources, speakers and programs that promote understanding and respect for all people. The program is a resource to 2-4 grade teachers, students and parents.
The students taking "Intercultural Communication" at Santa Barbara City College act as support for Beyond Tolerance in presenting the "Multicultural Celebrations" program in the classroom. They also research information as how to involve parents.
