The MULTI-CULTURAL CELEBRATIONS program is a one-hour workshop that is presented by a docent of the program. This program is designed to give students the opportunity to explore the themes and characteristics of five international celebrations: Japanese Children's Day, Passover, Dia de Los Muertos, Chinese New Year and Kwanzaa.
By examining these different ethnic and religious celebrations, students learn to appreciate cultural traditions that are outside of their own.
