DEAR KITTY is a program that is offered through Beyond Tolerance. This is a two-week program that meets one hour a week. The workshop complements and focuses on the Anne Frank Diary in order to become aware of issues such as hate and anti-Semitism. DEAR KITTY is led by a docent of the program and involves a variety of classroom activities that include:
• Viewing and discussing DEAR KITTY video.
• Reviewing vocabulary lists and worksheets.
• Discussing current events and how they affect us.
• Discussing the choices we make and how they affect others.
