Important Dates To Remember!
  To ensure that Beginning Teachers in the BTSA Program have the support needed to complete their two-year Induction Program, we will be collecting several forms over the course of the year for documentation. The following required documents will be requested at certain points during the year.

BTSA Consent Forms - Required for State funding

  • Support Provider's Deadline for submission: December 1, 2009
  • Participating Teacher's Deadline for submission: December 1, 2009

HP (Individual Induction Plans) - Required

  • Year 1 PT - IIP due May 2010
  • Year 2 PT - IIP Phase 1 due November 2009
  • Year 2 PT - IIP Phase 2 due January 2010
  • Year 2 PT - IIP Phase 3 due May 2010

Monthly Support Provider Logs - Required

  • Monthly logs must be on file in the BTSA Office for each month.
  • Year-round Schools: A total of 9 logs will be sent for variable months from July- May
  • Traditional Schools: A total of 9 logs will be sent for the months September- May

UCSB Extension Units: Optional for Beginning Teachers and Support Providers

  • Registration Deadline - May 31, 2010
  • We must complete registration by this date to ensure grades are posted by July of 2010.
