Teen Resource Center - Kern County

The Teen Resource Center features a directory of community resources created by teens for teens. Resources are grouped into eight categories. Please browse the resources below and be sure to submit a new resource.

Days: 24 hour answering machine - Call for meeting hours and locations.
Description: Alcohol and drug services, counseling and psychological services, family counseling, support groups, self-help. English and Spanish.

Days: Monday - Friday 11 AM - 4 pm at office; 24 hour service on telephone.
Description: Alcohol and drug services; Crisis counseling; Rehabilitation; Depression Counseling; 12 Step Program.

Fees: No fees.
Days: Mon-Fri 8-5; Hotline available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (Spanish also).
Description: Counseling, education, programs offered in school and jails, family counseling, case management, child abuse prevention service, emergency services, sexual assault, domestic violence, court accompaniment, and restraining order assistance. Also provides a safe house for individuals.

A certified medical center. Also now providing free ultrasound.
