Welcome to our web site. Cabrillo High School is located in the smallish town of Lompoc on the Central Coast of California, about an hour north of Santa Barbara. Cabrillo is your typical high school in your typical middle class neighborhood. Except it is not. Cabrillo High School is a California Distinguished High School and one of the top high schools in Santa Barbara County. Aside from it's strong academics and athletics, Cabrillo has a variety of outstanding elective programs. From our one of a kind high school aquarium (trust us, this is not just a tank in a room, but a full fledged museum quality tourist stop) to our outstanding visual and performing arts to our vocational classes, Cabrillo has everything to offer to
a young adult.

One of those outstanding programs is the Cabrillo Design Program. The program offers four years of course work in design and design technology applications. Students learn the fundamentals of design, typography, color theory, branding and identity, packaging, and design history. In addition, most will graduate from the program with fluency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign software. Every student develops a portfolio of their work that will allow them to pursue a career in design. Many of our graduates will continue their education at art colleges or CSU system universities.

We would like to invite you to come into our world and stay awhile. We have
a lot to show you and we promise you won't be bored.
