1. Introduced three students who are interested in the garden club.

2. We gave a brief description of the LEAF Grant and why gardens are important.

3. The head grounds man took us all out to see potential garden locations. We all agreed on the spot at the back of the campus, behind the 6th grade portables.

4. The “Jr. Master Gardener” program was explained.

5. Developed a list of goals for the rest of the year:

• Survey kids to see the interest in a garden club.
• Create our garden plan.
• Have a meeting with kids who are interested.
• Guest speaker.
• Have raised beds made.
• Have a consultant look at our garden plan.
• Solicit names of parents who would like to help at the On Your Own Spring Tea.
