Welcome to the newly established principal’s blog! I will try to put current issues here as frequently as possible.
If you want to know what daily announcements are given to the students, check out the daily bulletin that is posted on the CMS web site as well.
*You should have received your child’s 6 week progress report by now. If you didn’t, call the school, check your address and ask for another copy!
*We have a lot of extra resources to assist your children. There is no good reason for a D or an F. Speak to a counselor about what your child needs to do to get back on track.
*While Red and Gold cards will be issued soon, there is no off campus eating permission this year. They will have other rewards here on site instead.
*Parents: it is the law that children under the age of 18 must wear a bike helmet if they are biking, skateboarding, scootering or rollerblading in the community. Please make sure they own one and leave the house with it. We will be supporting a “protect the brain” campaign here at CMS soon. Eventually students will be required to have helmets to bring their vehicle on campus.
*It is bike popping thorn season…a lot of punctures are coming from the plants: make sure your child can identify them. Ask Mr. Bell or Mr. Ramirez if you don’t know what they look like.
