Educational Technology Plans

The State Board of Education adopted a Technology Planning Guide for school districts in January 2001. It states that all Technology Plans should address these areas:

Two additional components were added in 2002, in response to federal No Child Left Behind guidelines:

Two additioanl provisions were added for the 2008-2009 school year;

Relevant Research for EETT Formula Technology Plans:

As mentioned above, federal No Child Left Behind guidelines require that EETT-funded technology plans be based on relevant research. To assist in developing your district plan, check these links for currently available research:

http://www.iste.org - National Educational Technology Standards for teachers, administrators and student. Look for a link called NETS.
