Get ready for Convention for April 2009!

It’s not too early to start thinking about convention. Please mark your calendars because this is the perfect time to start getting ready for the California State PTA Convention for April 30 - May 3, 2009 in San Jose. All councils, out of councils, units, and our district need to put “convention” in your budget to send at least one person, to be determined at a later date. The approximate price for convention for one person will be $650.00. We expect to be receiving funds from state for Leadership Grant(s) for those who are deserving, but are short of funds.

Convention is a wonderful way to get the training you need, the knowledge you want, see the impact that the California State PTA has, see many exhibitors that will bring great programs into your school, and meet new friends from all over California. Convention is the best place to see where the Every Child, One Voice comes from when attending the General Meetings. Please join me and other Fifteenth District Delegates for an exciting and memorable time at the next California State PTA Convention. More information will follow in the months to come.
