Home School Santa Barbara is an independent study program designed to support homeschooling families and consists of two public schools: Home School Santa Barbara Elementary (HSSBE), grades K-6, and Home School Santa Barbara Secondary (HSSBS), grades 7-8.
It is the mission of both schools to support students in academics, personal and social skills, and developing qualities of life long learners. Both schools provide opportunities for students to be treated as a unique people with individual needs, goals, and interests by designing educational experiences that are unique to each student and family.
