Lesson Three: Whole Class Presentation of Virtual
Reality Moon Phase Picture Internet Site.
Copy a page from a calendar for students to use to make moon
illustrations. Using a TV presenter, present the following Web
page to the entire class:

This page shows students what the moon will look like on any
date that you select. Choose the current date and show students
what the moon will look like on that particular night. Have
students create a sketch of what they see on the TV screen onto
their calendar note sheet. Proceed with the next day’s moon
phase. Have students quickly sketch again. Continue until you
have shown
all of the moon phases for the entire month.
