Project Description:
This is a unit on the Solar System. The students will learn the various characteristics about the Solar System and create a class movie (documentary) on it. In preparation for the movie, the class as a whole will study the Solar System using their science textbooks. As individuals, they will write a paragraph on one planet and using the information from the paragraph, create a PowerPoint presentation to present to the class.
After, giving the individual presentations, students will work with a partner to create a movie on their assigned planets. The movies will be compiled into a whole to create on documentary on the Solar System.
