LA CUMBRE CAFETERIA

If there’s one thing that junior high kids care about, it’s food! So what’s there to eat at La Cumbre? First, check out this month’s Santa Barbara School Districts menu and price list: Current Menu

However, there are a few things to note about eating at La Cumbre. First of all, it is the only local junior high where breakfast is free for all students. A hot breakfast is served in the cafeteria starting at 7:45 a.m. For students taking a zero period class, breakfast snacks are brought to the classroom for all to enjoy. Additional healthy snacks are available to purchase near the office during the morning nutrition break.

Also, the La Cumbre cafeteria menu is more extensive than the main district meal. Every day, students may order complete lunches that include burritos, smoothies and pretzels, sandwiches, pizza, or the Special of the Day. Parents are always welcome to come eat breakfast or lunch with their student or with other parents—please sign in at the office before going down to the cafeteria.

At lunchtime, complete meals are served both in the cafeteria and at the outdoor Snack Shack. A la carte items are only served at the Snack Shack. Students may eat in the cafeteria or out in the quad.
