School Leadership
The Monroe staff has a reputation as an innovator in education,
focusing on academic achievement. The principal, teachers, and
parents work together, sharing decision making, to find ways
to improve. Teachers' talents, interests, special knowledge,
and expertise are used to develop new programs. Parent and community
resources are utilized.
Unique and successful programs created and implemented through
shared leadership include Mastery Math, English emphasis for
limited-English students, and Site-Based GATE offerings. |
