Where: Group meets at SBJHS and walks together to Santa Barbara High School
What to expect: Fun, food and prizes! Mentoring provides opportunities for young people to be in ongoing, mutually beneficial, caring relationships, which strengthen a young person's resiliency to the challenges they face in life. Students from Santa Barbara Junior High School will go to Santa Barbara High School to meet with a group of high school mentors, where SBJH students will play games, make new friends, and have someone older to talk to about challenges the older students may have already faced.
