with this club.
When:
Club: once a week at lunch.
Team: meets with club and weekly practices as well as monthly meets
Where: Club meetings in room 212. Team practices at local beaches to be announced.
What to expect: Cost for participation is $180.00., which includes insurance, competition
fees and club sweatshirt/t-shirt pack. Students must pass a water test to join the team: 100-meter
ocean paddle and then they must be able to ride a wave to shore. There is a maximum of 25 students
on the team, so try-outs might be needed. Surf club and team are welcome at lunch meeting, where
there will be videos, speakers and open discussions about all things surf.
