Graduates of SLDM School are:
RELIGIOUS LEARNERS
• who are able to continue developing a closer relationship with God the
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, through prayer
• who understand their obligation as Christians to put faith into action
by striving to imitate Jesus Christ
• who have acquired an age-appropriate knowledge of Catholic beliefs,
practices, and morals
• who demonstrate an age-appropriate knowledge of the life and teachings
of Jesus Christ
• who are able to participate meaningfully in the various liturgies, paraliturgies,
and the sacramental life of the church
INTELLECTUAL LEARNERS
• who demonstrate thinking skills that exhibit creativity, logic, and
sound judgment
• who have attained the academic skills equal to their assessed ability
• who demonstrate the ability to use current technology
SOCIAL LEARNERS
• who accept personal responsibility for their actions as part of a caring
student body
• who know they can make a difference in their parish, civic, and global
community, and who will continue to look for ways to be involved in service
to others
• who understand their obligation to work for social justice and peace
RESPONSIBLE LEARNERS
• who are self-disciplined participants in all aspects of school life
• who can work independently
• who can complete and submit assignments on time
• who can setgoals and develop plans of action
CULTURAL/AESTHETIC LEARNERS
• who recognize a wide variety of fine arts and literature so that they
can continue to explore these subjects for lifelong enrichment and appreciation
