The mission of the Development Committee is to create a long-term self-sustaining source of revenue to support the capital and scholarship needs of St. Raphael School.
The Development Committee commits to providing a world-class parochial K-8 education for the future leaders of our community, while servicing a socially and economically diverse population. In addition, this committee volunteers pledge to assist in educating the whole person through teachings in morality, spirituality and values while maintaining the school's position as a premier educational provider in Santa Barbara County.
Parent Advisory Committee
The Parent Advisory Committee recommends and updates school policy. They are also responsible for approving the recommendations of various subcommittees and establishing other subcommittees as needed.
Members of the Parent Advisory Committee consist of the parent class representatives, members of the Finance Committee, and any additional organization members the Pastor may designate. Regular meetings of the Parent Advisory Committee are held alternating months throughout the school year.
Policies related to the budget, employment, and curriculum, and matters governed by the laws of the State of California are not handled by the Parent Advisory Committee,
Parent Finance Committee
The Finance Committee members are appointed by the Pastor, and serve two year terms. Members of this committee are responsible for review and advising in the areas of:
- General school Budget
- Tuition charges
- Collection of delinquent tuition policies
- Fundraising budgets and collections Regular meetings of the Finance Committee are held alternating months throughout the school year.
