Judy Frost

Judy Frost began serving on the board in May 2018. She represents Trustee Area 5, which includes Orcutt and the Santa Maria Valley. 

After two decades in Orange County where she worked as a Controller for various technology companies, Frost moved to Santa Maria in 1989 to become the managing director of the Pacific Conservatory Theater at Allan Hancock College. She retired from the college in 2007.

Frost is an active volunteer with many local arts and education nonprofits. Her involvement includes the Santa Barbara Foundation (former board chair), Allan Hancock College Foundation (finance committee chair), PCPA Foundation (treasurer), Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara (honorary board member), Santa Maria Arts Council (treasurer), and the Orfalea Foundation. She is also a designated honoree of the Santa Barbara Foundation’s annual “Celebrate Philanthropy” event.

She holds a B.S. in Accounting from CSU Long Beach and an M.B.A. in Management from Pepperdine University.

Frost said she values working with fellow board members and SBCEO staff toward innovation in education and effective ways to achieve the educational goals of all students.
