Dental Screenings
Tiny Teeth, Big Smiles is a preschool prevention program offering oral health screenings. The Preschool Prevention Program helps young children learn how to take care of their teeth. It includes free oral health screenings and fun, three 20-minute lessons for students. Kids learn about:
- How to brush and floss their teeth the right way
- Healthy eating habits (learning about "Sometimes Foods")
- Why brushing before bed is important ("Brush, Book, Bed")
Parents can also join three hands-on workshops, where they get helpful tools and kits to keep their child’s teeth healthy at home. Right now, 14 state preschools are part of this program.
