SBCEO’s Education Spotlight brings our community together to have critical conversations about topics impacting Santa Barbara County children and youth.
Spotlight #1 (1/19/23):
Our first Spotlight focused on the opioid and fentanyl crisis that has led to increased rates of adolescent addiction, poisoning, and accidental overdose deaths. The event featured a moderated panel discussion with experts in the field, new countywide statistics, myths vs. facts, a Q&A, and sharing of resources for schools and families.
Watch the recording in English, Spanish, or Mixteco HERE. It is also available on the following local cable channels: TV Santa Barbara and Santa Maria Community TV.
