The Santa Barbara County Education Office (SBCEO) Human Resources Division provides comprehensive support to its employees, equipping each team member with the tools and skills needed for exceptional service. The department also ensures fair and equitable employment practices in collaboration with our labor partners, and provides professional staff support to the Personnel Commission that oversees our merit system.

These services include legislative advocacy, safety and operational resources, credentials consulting and facilitation, and a countywide substitute network.
