Behavioral Health Services

What is Behavioral Health?

Behavioral health is a key component of the body's overall health. It refers to the state of mental, emotional, and social well-being, and the behaviors and actions that affect wellness. The term behavioral health care encompasses the support systems that promote stable well-being, prevent mental distress, and provide access to treatments and services for mental health conditions.

The Early Care and Education Behavioral Health Team supports your child’s behavioral health by:
  • Promoting positive social–emotional development.
  • Offering no-cost services to families.
  • Helping to create safe, nurturing early-learning environments where all children can thrive.

SBCEO's Early Care and Education Now Offers Behavioral Health Services for APP Families.

We are currently serving only APP families, but look forward to expanding our services in the future.
