Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and related disciplines
SBCEO’s STEAM team provides leadership, resources, and professional learning services to support excellent, equitable, student-centered programming in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math, and related disciplines including Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Environmental Literacy.
- Provides targeted professional learning plans centered around district initiatives and emerging shifts in state standards and frameworks.
- Facilitates workshops and local communities of practice to foster a network of support for Santa Barbara County Math, Science, and Computer Science teachers.
- Provides statewide, regional, and local grant leadership, building communities of practice centered around student equity and engagement.
