GRADES

• 4th-6th grade students

This is an invitation to all teachers and students in grades 4, 5, and 6 in schools throughout south Santa Barbara County to participate in a mathematics competition event that is exciting and challenging.

Each school may use a screening process of its own design in order to select four students from each grade level who will best represent the school at the Math Superbowl. We hope that every eligible school will be represented.

School and individual awards will be given.  There will be an entry fee of $100 per school to cover costs associated with the event.

Pencils, scratch paper and the test materials will be provided.  Hand-held calculators may be used in the team competition only and must be provided by the school or individual students.

Due to space restrictions, participating schools are asked to bring only the primary competitors to the event.
