Dear SBCEO Family,

I hope you had a relaxing weekend and are enjoying the sunshine after the rain.

As new information is available and conditions change, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is now recommending that the public use cloth face coverings when performing essential tasks that bring people in close contact with others. The CDC has FAQs & instructions on how to make and wear a face covering using simple materials. Please note, however, that face coverings do not replace the need for social distancing.

On SBCEO campuses, because we have limited staff on site, we wanted to provide a reminder about orders and deliveries. If you place an order to be delivered to SBCEO, please remember to include a purchase order number, contact name and phone number to help smooth the process on the receiving end.

Additionally, it would be helpful if staff working remotely would include their contact information, such as your SBCEO email and your cell phone number (if it is public and is acceptable/approved by the employee), in their outgoing voicemail. Directions on how to do this can be found here.

Finally, please remember that the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department recommends that you stay home if you feel sick or are exhibiting any signs of illness. It’s important you are healthy for the sake of yourself and others. Thank you for your support!
